Soap and lotion making became a passion for me in 1999! I stocked my Etsy shop in 2008 as a way to fill my time with my passion for soapmaking! As my kids grow (I have 4 children) I have found more time to do what I love. Now you can find me all over the place selling my soaps and talking with customers about the process, which they always find fascinating! Whenever I am asked why I make my own soaps, I tell them of my troubles with my own sensitive skin, having had to use free and clear soaps and detergents for most of my life. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that it actually wasn't just the fragrance in the soaps, but the combination of artificial chemical hardening ingredients, unfriendly fragrances and colorants that were my enemy. I can now use my own scented soaps, most of which I do not add colorants too. I use RSPO (roundtable on sustainable palm oil) certified palm oil in all of my recipes. I also use phthalate free fragrance oils, as well as many essential oils. Sustainability is very important to me. I can proudly say that I haven't scratched myself to the bleeding point like I used to! This makes me happy, because after all, who wants to use boring free and clear products every day, especially when they weren't really helping that much! Feel free to ask questions!
